Rating is skewed by a dishonest player - Great Car

Subaru BRZ: A True Driver's Car The Subaru BRZ stands out as a truly awesome vehicle, despite what some online reviews at KBB might suggest. It appears there's an attempt by certain individual to unfairly skew its rating, perhaps due to its traditional internal combustion engine or the availability of new model years. It's important to clarify that the 2025 model is indeed available, and the BRZ is fundamentally designed as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive, ICE sports car – a deliberate evocation of classic performance. Key to its appeal are the distinctive flat boxer engine, engaging manual transmission, and easily disengageable traction control. Unmatched Driving Experience at this Price Point The BRZ is a masterpiece of affordable, visceral, and satisfying performance. It captures the essence of iconic 80s sports cars like the Nissan 280Z, Toyota Celica GT, and Mazda RX-7 (without the rotary complications). When compared to contemporary rivals such as the Miata RF, Nissan 350Z, older Porsche Boxsters, Toyota GR Corolla, and VW GTI, the BRZ consistently ranks at or near the top, depending on individual priorities. Addressing Past Perceptions Earlier models of the BRZ faced criticisms of being slightly underpowered, a concern comprehensively addressed with the 2020 engine update. While some track enthusiasts noted rare oil starvation issues in specific extreme conditions, those buying the car for dedicated track use are typically well-aware of these highly specialized (and solvable) problems. This contrasts with the more pervasive and costly bearing issues often associated with older Porsche Boxsters. Practicality Meets Performance Ultimately, the BRZ delivers pure driving enjoyment and striking aesthetics in a remarkably reliable and accessible package. While it may not be the fastest car on the road, its handling is arguably the best in its price segment. Potential considerations include the very low seating position and narrowly bolstered seats, which might not suit everyone. The interior noise level is noticeable, and the cup holders are somewhat inconveniently located behind the elbow. However, for those debating between a Miata RF and the BRZ, the BRZ offers superior daily drivability, providing more usable storage, better cup holders, increased power, a tighter suspension, and more effective brakes. peace! you won't be disappointed - 5.0
Absolutely perfect

It's hard to come up with any negatives towards this vehicle. The most glaring one would be that it could use just a little more horsepower, but that can be pretty easily fixed. This car is an incredible entry-level sports car and is incredibly fun to drive. Having taken it on multiple long road trips, I can say that it is comfortable and fun as hell.
